Jordan, 2026-08-10, closing the mixed-sheet questions from the nesting discussion (nesting rules):

• Program numbers: the shop keeps a list of program numbers, and the operator defines the number at the time of nesting. That is the rule for any 1.x nest output. Letting cadmaster define/assign numbers itself is a possible later refinement — version 2.x, intent only.
• Sorting cut parts back to their orders on a mixed sheet: asked directly — "right now we don't. And it's also something we're not going to solve right now." Deliberately unsolved today; any answer (numbered sheet map, etched part marks, anything else) is version 2.x, intent only.

This pin introduces the first 2.x tags in the list. Read them as: decided OUT of current scope by ruling — do not build, do not re-ask; revisit when a 2.x phase opens.
