Ruling (Jordan, 2026-08-27), verbatim: 'When a tolerance has an uneven + versus - let's make it a rule to go to the center of the tolerance. If the operator disagrees they will be able to manually change the hole size, but center of tolerance should be the default.'

• Scope: any feature we size from a print callout that carries an uneven tolerance band (holes are the born case; the principle is the band's center, so a symmetric +/- resolves to nominal and nothing changes).
• Default, not a mandate: the operator can manually change the size — this is a value for the per-contour override slot (see interface-per-contour-override), seeded with the computed mid-band size.
• Born on: LS1156258's three ø3.8 mm holes with an uneven +/− callout. The callout reads clean at 300 dpi in Jordan's layout PDF: 3X ø3.8 +0.08/−0.03 → band center 3.825 mm = ø.1506". Build 145 is the mid-band re-issue (supersedes build 143's nominal .1496).
